After only hours of playing OVERWERK in our cars and watching his videos on Youtube, we realized that we had stumbled upon one of the most talented and original young artists in years. Born and raised in London, Ontario, he doesn't follow anybody on Soundcloud, but has over 1500 followers and close to 50,000 downloads from fans and DJ's across North America, Europe and Japan. The best part is that he hasn't even released an album yet, this is only the beginning.

His stellar midi arrangements and uber-complex mixes combined with all original sounds and samples makes his music an addictive formula even for seasoned ears.

His subtle build-ups keep you guessing until the rug is finally pulled from underneath you when you least expect it.....and you love it. Three Saturdays later A3 is driving up the sea-to-sky highway to Whistler with OVERWERK blasting his unreleased EP on probably the last hot weekend of the summer for a show at Garfinkels Nightclub. Our A3 team was already at Garf's setting up our production gear for the night.

Minutes after midnight walking through Whistler Village and up to the club we noticed the OVERWERK posters and "I am London" playing in front of the entrance, immediately we are told its a SOLD OUT NIGHT! Down the stairs and straight to the DJ booth, the whole stage lit-up as soon as Ed was announced. His epic intro began as eager fans waited to be blinded by the LEDs as the rug was being pulled. The next 2 hours seemed to go by like a flash as OVERWERK dropped some of the most unique Electro/House mixes from Daft Punk to Drake and even Dead Prez. We are very lucky to be a part of the whole weekend and are already planning a multi-city tour with OVERWERK in the months to come.
